Studies have found exposure to light at different times of the day can change the timing of the body clock and sleep /wake pattern. Bright light in the morning can re-time your body clock, making it easier to fall asleep at night and wake up earlier in the morning. On the other hand, exposure at night can delay the time you fall asleep and prolong your wake-up time the next day.
